Omar Bradford
Counsel Omar K. Bradford, originally from Columbia Maryland, has over ten years of experience in hard-nosed complex business litigation and transactional matters, with a focus on complex business disputes, sports and entertainment, governmental/land use and employment related issues. He and his wife now reside in Miami, Florida with their two children. Before joining The Advisory, Bradford spent eleven years practicing at one of the state of Florida’s most prestigious and well-respected litigation law firms, where he led the firm’s employment litigation and sports and entertainment practices, in addition to working in the firm’s governmental and land use division. Bradford is a graduate of New York University and the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, Bradford wrote for the Race and Social Justice Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board where he won the 2009 National Duberstein Bankruptcy Law Moot Court Competition and the BLSA National Moot Court Competition. Prior to law school, Bradford worked in Warner Brothers Records’ marketing department, for CBS Sports as a writer, and at ABC Television as an Operations Manager. In addition to his law practice, Bradford is a certified Major League Baseball agent and film producer. In October of 2022, Bradford Executive Produced the award-winning film, “Jackie Robinson: Get to the Bag”, which premiered on Fox Sports (FS1).
He is also a pursuant to a recent appointment by Miami-Dade County Commissioner Marlene Bastian, Bradford currently sits on the Miami Dade Citizens Independent Transportation Trust board. The CITT makes critical decisions regarding the use billions of dollars in surtax funds paid to the County by its residents for purposes of improving the County’s public transportation system. In addition to his legal work and film production, Bradford is an avid reader, vinyl record collector and proponent of equity and social justice initiatives. – enjoys golf, tennis and cycling
